Hair types, hair types men, hair types textures. People are born with either straight hair, wavy or curly.
Hair is primarily composed of keratin, a protein that grows from the follicle; sulfur atoms compose the rest. When two sulfur atoms link they form a bond and the protein will bend. As a result your curls are created. The degree of variation depends on the curl pattern of the hair.
Hair is type 1 for straight hair, which is very smooth and shiny for the reason that there is no curl pattern. Hair type 2 can be subdivided in hair type 2a-2b and 2c.
2a hair is fine, 2b is medium textured and 2c has a frizzier look and it is bulky and coarse.
Hair type 3 belongs to a tighter curl pattern that bounces back to its original curly state as soon as you drag on them. It can also be subdivided in type 3a, 3b and 3c, which a softer curl belongs to hair type 3a, while the tighter curl; almost kinky refers to hair type 3c.
The last hair type classification belongs to the kinky hair type number 4, gradually increasing in strength as the other classes 4a, 4b and 4c. It is the hard to grow as a result of having fewer cuticle layers in comparison to the other hair types. It is also fragile and very vulnerable to suffer damage.
