Leonard has dedicated his life to train for a career in the art of hairstyling, driven by a childhood passion for beauty and fashion. He has spent more than dozen years perfecting his craft as a professional working for a wide range of high visibility clients in the fashion, editorial, advertising and entertainment industries.
Leonard has built a portfolio as a key player working for high-end fashion houses in Europe and New York. Created haute couture looks for runway models representing Versace, Dolce & Gabanna, Chanel, Calvin Klein.
In the editorial world Leonard has applied in-depth studio knowledge of hair to both American and European editorial clients including Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Mademoiselle, Officielle and Grazia. Work was featured on six cover photographs in a single year for Glamour magazine.
In the advertising field he has provided hair design for Clairol’s Nice ‘n Easy and has contributed to numerous sales catalogs for both Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales.
Celebrities that trust their hair to the artistic hands of Leonard includes Mary Tyler Moore, Meryl Streep, Scarlett Johansson, Natasha Richardson, Anne Hathaway, Rose McGowan, Daisy Fuentes between others.
Currently, Leonard is part of the team of Rodolfo Valentin Salons winners of the NYC Top Salons 2011 available In the Madison Avenue Salon, Saturdays at the Long Island Beauty Center Salon to extend the enjoyment of his great hair services to Long Islanders.
